Annual BBQ and Prize Giving

Our annual BBQ and Prize Giving which was held on Sunday 12th June at the Blue Circle Boat Club rounded off a very successful season for the club. Well done to all of the club's swimmers and special congratulations to those who received prizes. We hope you all enjoyed the day and wish you all a restful summer holiday break.

More Success for Larne Swimmers

In the recent National Speedo League Cup Final at Ponds Forge, Sheffield, Shane Traill gained his qualification time for the Euopean Youth Olympics with a time of 54.70 (long course) in the 100m Freestyle. Shane will travel to compete in the Youth Olympics at Lignano in Italy from 4th - 8th July, competing in the 50m & 100m Freestyle events and as part of the Freestyle and Medley Relay teams. Congratulations to Shane from all of his team mates at Larne Swimming Club and good luck!

On 30th April, Johnny Niblock swam a fantastic race at the Irish Long Course Championships in Limerick when he clocked a time of 24.27 to secure his place on 'Team Ireland'. This is a terrific achievement and well deserved. All of Johnny's team mates at Larne send their congratulations and wish him success in his future competitions.
