PBs Galore at Bangor

On Sunday 13th February 2005 Larne swimmers competed in a 200m gala at Bangor. It was another day full of great performances with 20PBs from 20 swims.

Patrick Brines completed a good weekend for the club when he achieved his qualifying time to compete in the Irish Age Group (Division 2) championships at Limerick in June.

Larne Swimmers Make a Splash!

Fourteen of the club’s younger swimmers took part in the Ulster Age Group 100m Stroke Meet which was held at Lisburn Leisureplex on Saturday 12th February 2005.

The swimmers excelled themselves by producing a remarkable total of 29 PBs out of 30 individual swims. Their performances certainly merit much deserved credit.

Special congratulations to Charlotte Hall, Gary Andrews and Owen Williamson who achieved their Irish Age Group (Division 2) qualifying times. Having gained these times, they are now eligible to swim in the Irish Age Groups (Division 2) Championships at the University of Limerick in June.
